DELIVERY POLICY (HIRE ONLY)

The cost of delivering to a particular area will be revealed when you choose the area. We may be able to deliver outside the areas available on our website. If you are outside of the areas shown on our website, please contact us to see if we can help you out.

If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity and provide a full refund. Delivery times can be arranged during the booking process.

Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.

What access is required for a castle to get to your set up area?

All castles are different, but most of them require between 90cm – 1.5m. Please check if you are booking online each castle has its own requirements. You can check those requirements here.

Having steps to go up to your castle setup area?

3 to 4 steps we can do setup. If more than 4 steps, we cannot do the job as castles and equipment are too heavy.

We can’t take castles through houses as our wheels on the trolleys may leave marks, or we may damage walls if the castle tips over. If you don’t have suitable access and uneven slopes, we can’t deliver the castle and you will unfortunately lose your deposit.

How long does it take to set up a castle?

In general, it takes about 20 minutes to set up most of our jumping castles, however this time can vary depending on the size of castles and setup location. We require good access through to the set-up area which is specified on each of the castle’s pages. Please ensure that there is a clear path through as the inflatables are wheeled in on a sack truck. If there are any steps, please let us know when booking as some assistance may be required on delivery and collection. In the area that the castle is to be set up please make sure that the area is clear of sticks and debris and any animal waste.

Do we need electricity to set up the Jumping Castle?

Yes, you need to provide electricity to setup and maintain the castle.

We use electric blowers to inflate the castle. We need to run the blowers continuously to keep the castle inflated.

What happens if I'm having a party in a park with a jumping castle?

You need to apply to the Council for a permit to have a party in the park. Another thing to consider is, whether there is access to electricity in the park. If there is no power supply available in the park, you need to arrange your own generator. WE DO NOT SUPPLY GENERATORS.

Does Simply Amazing Castles have insurance? Can I get a copy?

Yes, Simply Amazing Castles is fully insured with an Australian Authorised Insurer. The policy is for $20,000,000 public liability. A copy of the certificate of insurance can be provided on request.

What does the price of a hire include?

Basic prices without supervision include delivery, installation and pick up of the equipment. The setup of the inflatable equipment is always completed prior to the booking time commencing.

Do we have to pay deposit to confirm booking?

YES, Deposits are required to secure any booking and failure to pay the required deposit will result in the booking being cancelled. Deposits are non-refundable with the exception of severe weather (we do not expect anyone to have a inflatable that they can’t use), so please ensure all your details, sizing etc… are correct prior to completing the booking.

Is supervision required for the castle?

Supervision is definitely required for every jumping castle for kids under the age of 18 either in a backyard hire or for a public or commercial event hire. This is simple and could be done by either one of the parents or another sibling over the age of 18, or any other adult (chosen by the customer) over the age of 18, standing by the castle to ensure that the correct amount of kids are on at a time and it is being used safely. This is a very easy task and our delivery driver will go through the rules for you to follow and you will be handed a safety rule sheet. This consist of the correct amount of kids, no flips and one person down the slide at a time, etc.

Alternatively, you can hire one of our friendly staff to run the bouncy castle(s) for you so that you can sit back and relax. The price for hiring a supervisor is mentioned on the product booking form.

What happens to our Jumping Castle booking if it rains?

Some of our jumping castles are fitted with Rain covers, so intermittent showers are not a problem. If the rain is heavy and persistent and looks as though it may cause risk to the children’s safety, please call us at least 3-4 hours before the setup time on the day of your hire. So that you can receive your deposit back

Can i use a hose to wet my castle?

NO, you cannot! At Simply Amazing Castles, you cannot use hoses to wet the castles or fill the castles with water. However, you can enter the castle wet and/or use water guns to play around inside any of our inflatables with an extra $50 (cleaning charge). If you do use water guns inside the castle or enter it wet, please try to have the castle dry for pickup… (Stop using water/water guns etc., inside the castle or entering castle wet, one hour prior to pick up time.)

What are the conditions for overnight castle booking?

OVERNIGHT HIRES: Jumping castles must be in locked premises, Castle Must be supervised by someone over the age of 18 years old. Also needs to be in a well-lit area. The Castle blowers must be turn off and deflate castle once finished using.
